Born in 1968 in France, Thierry Thomas, a.k.a. DJ e-motion, quickly started to follow his father's footsteps in the computer world at barely 12 years old. He learned to program his first software at age 13, and eventually studied to become a full time programmer for the French government at age 20. Mind you, his passion was not financial statistics, as they would use him for, but multimedia, video and music. By the time he had reached 24, he had opened his own distribution company for software and hardware used in video production and music production.

This is when he started to meet people in the music industry and started putting session recordings in place. One of the DJs used at an event organized by one of his clients didn't show up one night and Thierry was asked to replace him, the event was very successful and this is where the DJ hobby started...
